It has been quite a busy week. I haven't looked any further into the Tom Tom club animations. I have been watching my "Animation Now" DVD...yes it is nice. Though I would really be quite happy if it included an hour special on Priit Parn .


I would be ecstatic if it included an hour special on Paul Driessen . How I love the way his lines move.


I went to a Flickerfest screening last night. There was a very lovely animation called "Through my thick glasses". It was claymation, really well written, and the timing was perfect. I'll have to search for the details on that one.
"Toots" was to be involved in an animation fest in Cambodia....today. I received notification from my pal John Weeks of file problems . Poo.


Over the lst couple of days I have offloaded some comics to the Trails, and the True Fantasy publications that are being organised by the Silent army lads. These are both comics books due out this year. Trails will be like a newspaper, and it's content will be largely scribbles and sketchbook snippets. Wee, I can't wait.

I like the word publish. Or what is entails. It involves that feeling of letting go of your work, giving it up from your harbour and letting it sail away. It's a finished piece, yet it's completion lays in it's life without you.
