Yesterday I revisited Andreas Hykade.
I think the first section with the snazzy music was around on the interwebs for awhile before the full 6.5 mins version...?
'Was fab in the cinema at MIAF...if my memory serves me correctly.
TBH I love it but don't enjoy the music once the electric guitar pops up. Just gets a bit token overdrive electric guitar - if it went a bit Shoegaze however... hmmm
It is though a great fun animation. Inspires me; Feel like relaxing into some auto-animation ...to relax.
One of his other animations "Ring of Fire" was on SBS ages ago, well before Love and Theft. Was quite memorable, loved the technique. How things have moved on since then. 2D 2D 2D
