A print.

Thunder, lightening......blackout. Just as I was about to print.

Next day.

Inking up

Ready to print.

Here is a 'bit' of the etching.

The plate needs alot more work.....as do the other two. My enthusiasm hasn't waned as yet - even though I am continually realising that the time I need to complete what I want to achieve is ....far...greater than what I had initially planned and proposed. Hmmm..sounds familiar.

Leaving Megalo soon. Its all gone so fast - I've tried to stretch time. It has been fantastic. ...I'll fill you in later.

Animated Exeter

Wish I could be there. Particularly for the screening of The Snowman in Exeter Cathedral.

Megalo Render Project

Currently I am on Day 4 of my Megalo Render Project.

Bit busy - will fill in the gaps later.
Am currently drawing onto two plates with softground on them. Have done an aquatint on the third. Have to prepare my paper and etch my plates this evening. Proofing tomorrow. Its hot and quiet in here today.
I attempted to 'smoke' my plate with wax tapers but I was worried about the amount of smoke they gave off.

Look at my rather large light box.

Kind of ironic - as I am using very small post-it notes as a part of my animation process.
I have two projects on the boil - Sequential and Printed States

More to come

Montage type pics of my first few days. This one represents my brain at work.

Injury list:

Double butchers paper paper-cut. (That is to say I re-sliced the same paper-cut on the same finger)
Woeful weak and sore shoulders from filing plates - must start swimming again.
A Whopping great bruise on my leg from walking into the LJ press HANDLE . There was a class in there as I did it so I couldn't yelp. I think I produced some kind of interesting sound though. Kind of a " ffffffwwooooorp" and then a " eefffffffffffff"

His incredible ZOG films will be touring soon as a part of Flickerfest.

Here is June wanting to know why I haven't finished her story yet.
My answer is....I spent all day yesterday animating two walk cycles....and they both look a bit shite.

Mind you, the shoes look ok.

I found a lovely inky animation recently. Poezie is kinderspel, by Bouwine Pool.
Go to dichtvorm and find Poezie. It's well worth it.

Christmas Twit

Here is a Christmas Twit

He's a little bird that is a bit slow to realise the consequence of his actions.
Eats boring insects.
